This pad can be used in several activities, namely:
• Color comparison and recognition
• Counting sequencing
• Number comparisons
• Eye-hand coordination
• Finger dexterity and strength exercises
• Supplied with a re-usable template for activity setup
The light box features a 16" x 16" frosted light
screen that is designed to be used either
alone or in conjunction with the Skil-Care
clear gel pads. The box also allows the user
to trace line drawings, shapes and patterns
as a daily activity. The touch responsive gel
shapes encourage manipulation for tactile
stimulation and hand/finger strengthening.
Other expected outcomes are color
recognition, improved eye hand
coordination, reduction of boredom and
increased attention span. The light box is
powered by 120VAC, with two 850 lumens
light bulbs.
The unit can be placed in pressure sensitive
mode to turn on and off intermittently when
activated or it can be set to steady on mode to
provide continuous illumination.
• Touch screen illuminates with LED lights.
• When combined with gel pads the unit
provides a surface for tactile manipulation to
help improve eye-hand coordination, reduce
boredom and help to develop finger strength.
• Optional gel pads help develop learning skills
and color and shape recognition.
• Unit operates under two power settings
(pressure sensitive or continuous on).
• Unit is portable and operates with
"C" batteries (not included).
